Car Crashes Into Blink Fitness

Car Crashes Accident

In what was certainly a scary incident the other for people who were inside of Blink Fitness, we are thankful that nobody was hurt.

A driver crashed into the fitness center in the Frankford section of Philadelphia around 5:30 in the morning. The vehicle smashed through the front window. Police say that the driver hit the gas instead of the brakes. The gym was open at the time, but the patrons were well away from the window the vehicle went through.
We know this incident could have been worse, but it does show us that we never really know when the negligence or mistakes of others could cause us harm. At the Dan Doyle Law Group, we frequently represent those who are harmed due to other people’s negligence.

If you need a Philadelphia personal injury attorney, you can count on us to have your back, working to secure the compensation you deserve.

What Can Happen?

We face dangers every day. Regardless of how safe we try to be, we cannot control the actions of other people. We want to cover some of the common ways that personal injury cases arise:

  • Vehicle accidents: they are responsible for tens of thousands of deaths and millions of injuries annually. Drunk and distracted drivers are particularly dangerous and should be held liable for damages and injuries.
  • Slip and fall accidents: they are the number one cause of premises liability claims and are particularly harmful for elderly citizens.
  • Violence: this can include fights, wounds from weapons, and criminal domestic violence cases that cause injuries and were the fault of another person.
  • Pedestrian accidents: these can include getting struck by a vehicle at a cross walk or other right-of-ways.
Faulty products: whether a product was poorly designed, has a manufacturing defect, or is improperly labeled, millions of people are injured annually by things they use and consume.
  • Work accidents: if a person is injured at work due to extreme negligence, the fault of a third party, there are times when a person can pursue damages beyond workers’ compensation.

These examples are by no means the only ways that people get hurt due to someone else’s negligence. If you are not sure if you have a personal injury case, please seek legal assistance.
